House moving day
Ppl: how’s the new place going?
Me hearing Jurassic Park theme music blasting somewhere outside every single day nonstop for the 3000th time: 👌
Traffic Halted for six hours on this Winnipeg street while a large house was moved from its foundation and shifted to another site a block away, 1946

A commission for Snolath, featuring their family and house for a House moving card! This was so unique and enjoyable to create!
Okay, this post is a long time coming, but I think it's finally time I give you some updates on the new house.
As a whole, the inspection went relatively well. The only major issues that needed to be fixed were some electricals in the socket, the plumbing to the sewer line, heating, and termite damage located only on the front porch. After some negotiation, the previous owner agreed he would pay for the more serious repairs and updates and Mom would pay for the termite damage repair. With everything fixed and paid for, Mom did the appraisal for the house, which went a lot smoother despite our worries. The asking price of the new house was appropriately within range of its actual value and we couldn't be happier.
Of course, there's also the matter of our current home, aka Grandpa's house. Just recently, someone who was interested in our house came over to check it out, and after looking at all of the interior and exterior, he placed an offer that was quickly accepted. There is a reason why he even decided to check it out in the first place: he's a house flipper, so once everything has been cleared out (furniture and belongings we're bringing to the new house, stuff we don't want either being donated or left behind to be put in a dumpster), he can get to work on flipping Grandpa's house. Yes, we are going to be stopping by to see the results once he's done.
Speaking of moving out, we have official days on what's happening. Mom's offer on the new house will close this Tuesday (St. Patrick's Day), and once she officially becomes the new owner, my brothers and I will get to check it out for ourselves since we've only seen every aspect of it through photos. It's also worth noting that because of all the good omens that led to this big moment, we have recently made plans to start packing what we need to move. My older sisters have also booked their trips home to help us: Katie, who is the oldest, has just arrived to help us with the packing while Meghan, the 2nd oldest who got married a couple years back, will fly home at some point next week to help us unpack. What does that mean? Well, activity here will be somewhat reduced because of how busy we're going to be from now until we've settled in.
And for any of you DuckTales (2017) fans out there who've been enjoying me and @real-life-pine-tree's Tales! Reactions sessions, consider this move as a segway to a "season finale." I have some clips and photos already taken during our previous sessions that I plan to draft and post when certain episodes air on Disney XD; yesterday's photo and video for "The Town Where Everyone Was Nice!" are only a couple of them. Once they're all posted, this "season" will be finished. This move also means my family are cancelling Grandpa's Comcast/Xfinity account—since he's no longer with us (R.I.P.)—and be getting one of our own. We currently have two cable boxes purchased and scheduled to be delivered at thebmew house; I do know one is going in the living room, but we still don't know where we'll put the second one because you have to consider which rooms have cable and which ones don't. We'll definitely get another cable box or two once we've got that figured out, but in the meantime, I'll most likely post new Tales! Reactions posts from the new living room until a cable box is hooked up in my room. Regardless, the first T!R videos/photos I post in the new house will be the "season 2 premiere," so be sure to keep an eye out for it in the near future.
I am super glad this house buying process has went well ever since Mom's offer was accepted. After we move in, there are few changes that she plans on making later this year, but none of them are full-blown renovations; just something as simple as changing paint color, removing any wallpaper and carpet, etc. Whenever these changes happen, one change has definitely solidifed for all of us: we are looking forward to starting this brand new chapter in our lives! :)
Big life events have been going on so I apologise for my absence, but this is what I've crafted.
Me and one of my friends are buying a house together for the first time which is very exciting but also quite stressful, so I made this spell bottle with the intent of having a fast and relatively easy time in sorting all of the important paperwork out and having good luck with all of our money and expenses.
So far it has worked fantastically, I've finally had my appraisal at work which means my pay will be backdated for a year plus it's a pay rise, and even though we put our offer in for the house a couple of weeks ago, all of our mortgage stuff has been sorted and we are just waiting to hear back from the solicitors, but our expected move in date is around Dec 17th if not earlier
