I did keep my sketchbook out and have some more fun with the acrylic markers and white gel pen from before. I'm used to using soft pastel colours, but these are so bold and bright, it was a really fun change of pace!

I did keep my sketchbook out and have some more fun with the acrylic markers and white gel pen from before. I'm used to using soft pastel colours, but these are so bold and bright, it was a really fun change of pace!
I spent some time melting in the sun and appreciated the flowers with a pack of acrylic markers and a white gel pen I hadn't tried before. Absolutely love the effect of the white gel pen for the outlines on the colours, and the markers themselves are much more solid and vibrant than I've used before, I think more experimentation might be in order
I created these backgrounds for Kalpa, an openSUSE Linux OS! I had some great fun creating these, in both dark and light versions in 5K, ultra-wide and vertical versions. So happy to see it in use and I hope this happy turtle brings joy to those who use it!
All of my patterns (45+!) have been updated, so all stitches and symbols should be Pattern Keeper compatible! I've given everything a little refresh and love in the process, because cross stitch is fun, and I want others to enjoy it with my patterns as well!
If you have any problems with a pattern please let me know. The floss may not import, but all symbols shouldn't have a problem now! It's been a little labour of love for the past few weeks. I don't like making these self promo-y posts but how else will people find me lol
My first try with acrylics! Jumped into the deep end to just experiment. A test of texture and colour mixing. With just three colours (magenta, blue, yellow) I kept accidentally creating every shade of green and nothing else at first. Trying to understand how to create texture was also great fun, I like how the corner bush feels
Part of my "don't be scared to try new things" challenge I've set myself!
I absolutely loved my play through of Jusant, such an expressive game with great and unique story telling, and also a great little friend
The last of the resin flowers, a lovely Sweet Pea, but I waited to share until I had them set up together in their ornamental ivy pot! I love how all of these turn out each time and now they all sit beside me catching the sun in the mornings 💙
I loved my playthrough of the game Omno! Here are two friends on a journey together.
An emote commission for GreenCorgiQueen, featuring their lil corgi and 🥺! What a fun little friend to draw!
A pixel art based upon "The Coronation of Charlemagne" by Friedrich Kaulbach (1861), but interpreted into pixels and with the Minecraft colour pallet. Commissioned by Speki to add themselves in. This was a great and fun challenge to keep true to the original!
Another resin flower of Snowdrops! Love how these turned out as well, the double colours and the shape are so effective
A resin flower, featuring a lovely Daffodil! Just love how these all turn out, a workshop of a small group to create such unique things!
A twitch emote for RTGame featuring their powerhouse Miku PC! This was a challenge to animate in a natural feeling way and with unique animations tweaks for the smaller scale ones too, but I love the end results and I am proud of how these turned out!
A freshly pressed glass of slightly ominous red wine.. (!) A Vino Humano twitch emote for RTGame!
As I have begun on my next cross stitch project, and the sheer scale has made me realise it may take a few months at least, I will instead look to my last completed one, a small neat thrush bird! A small finish is nice between the larger ones. Pattern by Jane Greenoff "Wild Birds"
A whole selection of random assorted pixels I hadn't got to sharing! A large and wide variety, from memes to tropical themes, a trophy and a mini chalkboard. Each one has a story, but maybe it's best left as a mystery for you to guess
I don't go here, but when a friend shows you a character design that you love and can immediately imagine them watching snow fall, sometimes they just have to be drawn.
