Lisa Cuddy is just as insane as House. She only acts normal but deep inside she is just as deranged as he is. She would yell at him and call his ideas crazy and then turn around and think "that's a pretty good idea, actually" and then approve it and several other medical malpractice cases at at the same time. She would call House a manipulative bitch and then go manipulate Wilson House-style. She enjoys House's stunts and jokes that everyone else considers childish and stupid, and comes up with equally silly come backs for him. And that's why they were so happy together, because they could do all these goofy things and actually enjoy them, and it was normal for them and they were on the same level. They were happily washing dishes together while their friend and her mother were sedated and passed out in the background, they opened a champagne bottle with a sword, pulled pranks on each other and committed several crimes together. They were perfect for each other if you think about it.
