the project hail mary deleted scenes got released today and the fact that the dream scene was an alternate beginning to the karaoke scene and that they chose to go with the mates conversation is soooo telling. someone working on project hail mary had to have been a strattlander!! but even if they did go with the dream scene it still would have been so beautiful. grace talking to rocky about how dreams are “different” lives you live and the corresponding memory being him asking stratt whether or not they can be close and her turning him down but still giving him a glimpse of what could have been… im sickkkk
