Oh my gosh- I just need to take a moment to say THANK YOU GUYS!!! I was not expecting such an overwhelmingly positive response to Ask Bobbin, and I'm so floored to see all your questions in my askbox. These are some great questions that are giving me a lot to think about.

I will say, just as a housekeeping note- I do need to rest my voice a little bit today. I may have flown a little too close to the sun while yapping on my livestream last night, and I need to be kinder to my throat today. (Also I have company visiting.) But that gives me some time to really think about some responses. We'll record when we're feeling a little better. 💜

One last note: unless you address Bobbin specifically in your ask, I'm gonna assume it's a question directed at me to explain rather than her. In retrospect, I probably should have put that in my initial post. It just feels a little awkward for her to answer when she's not the one being asked the question, you know?

Thank you all so so much for the love, it means a lot that I get to share my little spider mage here. 💜 We're both having a great time. I can't wait to share more with you guys! 💜

Hey, this isn’t a specific callout for anyone, but because this has happened before and I’ve just been informed it’s happening again —

If you take something that I made and posted on this blog (whether it’s a funny video, a freebie I made, or a fan translation) and you post it on another social media site, you need to credit me. I’m not going to be a jerk about this and come after specific people, but it’s basic manners to link back to this blog and credit the source.

It makes me really sad when my stuff gets circulated without credit, especially if it’s one of the fan projects I’ve worked on that I spent a lot of time/money making. Obviously you can’t control everything that gets posted around the internet, but I would at least want my followers to please respect my time and effort I put into my content.

I’m all for spreading the fun around, but with credit pretty please. 🙏 💖 If you’re ever unsure if it’s OK to share something, just ask!

ASK BOX/INBOX QUESTIONS

Folks,

I’ve been trying to keep my ask box available to anyone who has questions about what they can do to help bring Jimmy Neutron back.

Some people abuse this privilege, especially when I allow anonymous people to inbox me. I had one such incident last night with an anonymous person. I have blocked their IP address so that I won’t receive anything further from them. It’s actually been quite a long while since I’ve had this issue.

My tumblr blog is a drama and hate-free zone and I intend to keep it that way. I have always tried to run this blog in the most professional manner possible. I reblog things and post news on here as well as sharing updates. I also do a lot of these activities on my instagram, twitter, and Facebook accounts as well. All of these accounts are interconnected to the project. I’m pretty much all-business when it comes to reviving this show.

I realize there may be some people out there who may not like this blog or some of the entries that I post. However, there are settings in tumblr that you can use to filter out certain blogs or entries you do not wish to see. 

I really don’t want to have to disable my inbox - I want to keep it open for all. For now, I will continue to do so. But I will be keeping a close eye on it, even while I’m on hiatus. Please only use my inbox for what it is intended with regards to reviving the show.

June is Migraine & Headache Awareness Month, shortened to MHAM for social media campaigns and the like. Every June I spam y'all with endless similar posts, and still have a truckload of unshared content left over when it ends. This year I'm doing something different: I'm sticking all my similar articles, and occasionally some infographics, into single roundup/masterlist posts. This also gives me a better way to share articles from patient info/support sites I like that in the last x months have gotten temperamental about sharing previews of links. More info, less clutter in your feed, more room in my queue - wins all around.

Just FYI, if something I share has a "mature content" warning on it, there's about an 80% chance that it's actually some kind of women's health thing that the censor wrongly flagged. This is especially true in May, as May is Women's Health Month.
