🌸💮🌸💮🌸🌸💮 A collection of cherry blossoms we saw in Kyoto and Tokyo. In varying whites and pink. There were also a couple of trees that had both white and pink blooms. Really unique. . For some reason I was never excited to see Sakura, we didn't plan to be in Japan at this time because we wanted to see them but having seen them in real life, it changed my mind. That timely (and short) blossoming, and how the petals would fly away like snow fall, as quickly as they blossomed. It was magic. And as I watched how the Japanese seized those short moments with family and friends to enjoy those few days of spring blossoms with a picnic in the park, I was reminded to live in the moment and to relish the beauty of nature. 🙏 . . . . . . #sakura #cherryblossoms #hanami #nature #japan #houseofleafjapan (at Japan)

Walking in the gardens of Ginkakuji and loved the use of Bamboo as drain covers and railings. We even noticed bamboo being used as fences outside some homes.
