Well, seems the lack of a hovercard when hovering over urls on the tumblr activity page is exclusive to me/anyone who happens to have the same exact thing going on. :/

I’ve tried everything and can’t get it to work again on Firefox, so I am left to think it was one of the auto updates the browser did that broke that feature for me.

What I have accomplished, however, is completely losing all xkit data and settings I had because I even tried the Refresh Firefox option - which didn’t fix the issue - but when I restored the firefox profile I had been using I realized I didn’t back up xkit. So, yay. -_- Lots of adding and tweaking again.
