Something I've noticed about Bricklin is that he is very insistent about his boys being more "grown up" and becoming successful leaders at such an early age. From throwing away Robot's toys to literally giving the entire factory to Gart at 10 YEARS OLD???? In some sketches of models reprimanding robot asking "when are you going to stop acting like a child?" What's his problem????

I haven’t yet decided on how I want Charlie’s Tsum to act (and he’s 100% getting a Tsum…soon) but I do know it’s running gag.

Tsum!Charlie will constantly shake with nerves and try to roll away from situations it’s uncomfortable in.

-Meeting the cast? Roll away.

-Meet a rock? Roll away.

-Meet Charles? Carefully examine.

Tsumification is a phenomenon from which none can escape!! Although seven knows, Tsum Charles is trying. 😭😭

I bet this little guy rolls just as fast as Charles runs and Tsums themselves are already super speedy to begin with. The only thing that can slow its cylindrical rapidfire progress is to give it a deadline. Then it always arrives at least five minutes late to wherever it's going.

Charles can probably get it to come out of its shell by making some little clockwork knickknacks for it. Who knows, he might even get a little assistant for a bit if the tsum's own creativity is sparked.

it's really annoying how the concept of insecurity is almost always exclusively asociated to a personal lack of confidence that always mean nothing and can always be solved by simply being more confident. especially when etymologically that isn't even what it is supposed to mean which, normally, should be something that makes someone feel unsafe. it doesn't have to be a self perception problem. it can also affect the person subjected no matter the level of confidence. for example, the insecurities i have regarding the ambiguities that come with being intersex aren't due to a low opinion of myself more than i don't have control on how hostile people may get in that regard and how much, or how little, do i have to actually disclose to make myself safer in certain circumstances. but then if i talk about that kind of thing with some self proclaimed allies who pretend they know and understand such things i'm often being told to not mind it and that everyone can be whatever they want forever no matter what anyone think. does that make me feel safer? no. does that actually help in any meaningful sense? no. what does it do then? other than shutting the conversation entirely on actual threatening issues, absolutely nothing.
