i think they have trouble communicating in a regular sense. its hard to formulate long sentences and words, which is why they communicate via symbols in the comics i have

Like, what would've happened if Five actually killed that viper? I mean, his arc might not change much at all, he'd probably just get corrupted faster. But at the same time, not being able to do it was fuel for him to think he was behind the other Loric.
