Nope!

Ophaesian names are always [given name] [family name] and, if a married woman, [husband’s family name]. Ysonia’s full name is Ysonia Maeliah Dahlas. Alapharen was Alapharen Verathae Dahlas. Keralith’s full Ophaesian name is Keralith Dahlas Sephien, though names work a bit differently in Sayelle. For the most part, however, married women are still referred to with just their own family name without their husband’s family name appended (i.e. Ysonia is usually just referred to as Ysonia Maeliah).

There are no middle names or second names or anything.

tbh have way too much respect for people like Noelle and Rebecca who have to tussle with execs every day about a queer story they wanted to tell and deal with the full force of the internet’s bullshit in the meantime when I can barely survive the anxiety and crippling self doubt bought on by publishing a niche queer novel that hardly anyone read and trying to do the most basic-ass self promotion/ working as an admin clerk in an office and pretending to respect people i don’t.
