one of my friends on Instagrams hasn't messaged me since Saturday. I've been texting her a lot and she hasn't replied to any of them-

its their birthday today and usually she's awake at this hour (its 1am for her) so I sent her a message and still nothing

- major economic crisis + recession pushes millions into poverty

- europe is becoming openly fascist

- a racial and religious minority is targeted by european countries (here, muslim people)

- said countries' policy on dealing with the economic crisis (bonus: covid pandemic!) is to scapegoat said racial and religious minority (see: the fallacy that is "islamo-gauchisme")

- the left is in shambles; capitalist elites (NOT jewish people ffs) target communist/socialist militants and brutalize them at protests

- i'd say racism and misogyny are on the rise but have they ever STOPPED rising?

- far-right capitalists' new favorite buzzword is literally their 1930's buzzword but Slightly Updated (from "judéo-bolchévique" to "islamo-gauchiste")

- lgbt communities are becoming much more visible (but at what cost... and anyway if things keep happening like in the 20th century we'll all be dead in 6 years lmao)

- bonus: the earth is boiling alive!
