hey F r e d , If you’re reading this, then, well, there’s a very good chance that I’m not here with you guys anymore. I’ve probably gone out in the worst way possible, I don’t know, but that isn’t the utmost of importance to me. Having you find this letter is. I wish I could tell you everything I want to, every little detail of every sentiment I bear, but paper fills up, ink runs out, and time passes quickly. And I guess my time’s come to pass already. But I’ve seen who you are and who you can be. I know sometimes you’ve got doubts, but let me tell you right now, you’ve become way more than what anyone could ever imagine. I bet my life you weren’t expecting to become a superhero, were you now? That you could live out your dreams, ones you thought only existed in the pages of a comic book? Guess what I want all of you to keep living that dream. Especially you, Fred. Never have I known anyone with potential so great that even a mere glimpse of it would be so awe-inspiring. I need you to live out your life seeking the dreams and goals that you’ve pursued for so long. You deserve to see them all come true. And I trust you enough to say this as of right now, I leave the leadership of the team into your hands. I know I can trust you on this; you’ve become more than trustworthy to me. After all, you’ve become one of my closest friends. Don’t worry about me; wherever I am; I’m keeping my brother in good company. And I will always be with you, with all of you. Best of luck with everything, my dear friend. Hiro Hamada
