sometimes i think of myself as a sponge.

someone mundane but indispensable

someone thats usually soft but can turn rock solid when the situation calls for it

someone who exudes positive energy to those who lift her up

someone who brings negativity along whenever others are less than amicable

Context Alters Meaning

For this exercise I wanted to show five pictures that associates/ contradicts with my work “How I see myself” which it reflects of myself whenever I think of uncertainty. For the associated pictures I went with objects that might weigh my work into a more pessimistic feel, like the use of shadows, a ripped off branch and the trash. Also I asked my brother to take a picture covering his face with the canvas as a sign of ‘not feeling myself’. In contract with the contradictory images I was aiming for a more positive light.
