Incredibly this was my 5th commission of 2021 which was also commissioned as a gift and also for a returning client. I loved how specific and niche this piece was. The brief was simply to create a model of Alexandria gate from the walking dead... I simply loved this because I could already see it was going to provide a few good challenges... For the build I set about sketching what my mind's eye was navigating me towards doing... And from this I provided the client with a sketch... This becomes the key way to communicate between myself and the client. The structure was really quite straightforward and for the corrugated look I used tin foil.
