4 years later, she "self inserts" herself into treebark as Ren's daughter except not really because it's canon now in Bannerfall, made as many lamplight references as humanly possible in her backstory, got into yuri that's like reverse treebark, and had managed to actually undoom the treebark

I remember that one popular au trend where everyone on Oakhurst is Not Human™️, and there's a fic where Abolish is a changeling

Which also made me remember that one headcanon where Apo is a creaking, and her heart is safe and sound back at home with Cherri

So now I'm thinking of an Everyone on Oakhurst is Not Human AU where Abolish thinks Apo is a fellow changeling and Apo thinks Abolish is a fellow creaking, and it goes back and forth with a lot of confusion both from the two and everyone else until someone figures out that they are NOT, the same species

And keeps it a secret because they think it's funny
