Tutorial; How to make a gif from video using Photoshop (CS6)
Fyi this is my first time making a tutorial, therefore my apologies for the lackingness . Also noted that I'm using Photoshop CS6, there might be slight different if you're using other version of the software. Now lets the tutorial begin !
First go to file and select "import" > "video frames to layers"
Choose the video and click open
Tick "selected range only" and (optional) "limit to every 2 frames" . then select the range of the video you want to gif.
If your timeline isn't showing, just go to windows up there and tick timeline. Now, click the button in the circle above.
Click "select all frames"
Right click on any of the frames in the timeline and select 'Other'
This is to change the speed of the gif.Change it to any number you want, me usually just put 0.09 seconds :) To change the gif's size, just go to image and select "image size".
Next, click on the button in the cirlce to preview the gif ! To save the gif go to file and select 'Save for web'
Click save and make sure the gif name is .gif ! Done!
