As always, these things are hugely long. I’m really sorry for clogging your dash.

1. What’s the #1 most played song on your ipod? Okay, I’m going to have to check last.fm for this one… Survey Says: Oskar in Love by Johan Soderqvist from Let the Right One In (aka Latte den ratte komma in). I love it to bits and it makes my heart ache. Honestly, this whole ost is amazing and you should all go see the movie (not Let Me In; see that one afterwards) and buy/get it and auuuuggghhhgh it’s just beautiful and also disturbing and everything a movie should have.

2. What is one of your favorite quotes? I have a surprisingly hard time with quotes, despite my love of words. For one, I really want to have “Apres moi, le deluge” as a tattoo because of the meaning it holds for me (more on that if you want to know), but I also love Voltaire’s “If God has made us in his image, we have returned him the favor.”

3. What is your favorite time of day/week/month/year? Haha, okay, wow, big question! Favorite time of day is twilight, of the week is Friday and Saturday nights (stretching from about 11 pm to 4 am), month is the beginning (because it feels like there's still so much time to get everything done!), and of the year is winter -- the very bowels of it. C:

4. What sound do you love? I love the sound ... hmm ... the sound of a library late on a winter afternoon. The cold air makes the noises crisper and lighter and everyone is still, leaving only the microsounds of wind on the windows, turning pages, and aging words. 

5. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? Well, seeing as I haven't experienced a lot of ages this one would be pretty hard? But I'm guessing a good one would be about 24-27? You're lodged right in adulthood, but still young and attractive enough for the world to give you all of its attentions, plus no one thinks its too late for you to do anything or pick up any hobbies. Alternatively 21-23 because then you're still young enough to do dweeby things without too much apology.

6. If you could change your first name, what would you change it to? That's kind of hard. See, I don't really like my first name all that much, tbph and I have no idea why. Something interesting, though. Charly as short for Charlemagne or something equally historically relevant and cool. 

7. If you were reincarnated as an animal/drink/ice cream flavor what would it be? Uuuuh ... probably a red wolf or s/t. Or like, blue moon. That would be cool.

8. What would you name your autobiography? Eraser Shavings: A Life Among Fictions, Failures, and Incurable Fancy

9. Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but turned out to be for the best? I really don't know. I don't think anyone can say what's for the best because there are so many little things that can influence a situation and outcomes can be such gray areas especially when you consider subjectivity vs objectivity and bluh bluh bluh.

10. What's the hardest thing you've ever done? Telling my dad I wasn't moving down to ATL. Sounds dumb, I know, but I think you'd have to understand the relationship and all of the things working in the background. I've never been so deeply hurt before.

11. What was the last experience that made you a stronger person? Read above.

12. What story does your family always tell about you? The one where I was three and I cried because I thought the grownups were making fun of me. Bunch'a bastards.

13. Tea or coffee? Depends upon the mood, man. I love both, but coffee for when I'm angry and tea for when I'm mellow. C:

14. What is your favorite curse word? Oh, that's hard. The non-official one is one that I kind of made up and that's "shitballs". I like it I like it a lot. But then the classic combo GDMFCSP is a pretty good one, too. It just has to be saved for special occasions.

15. What is your favorite Disney movie? Oh this is hard because my favorite kids movies aren't Disney. But I will tell you about them anyways! NOT DISNEY: Anastasia and Quest for Camelot. PERFECT KIDS MOVIES. EVERYBODY ELSE GO HOME.

17. What shocks or offends you? Hmmm ... well, I'm kind of hard to offend, tbh. Which must seem weird to you guys because I'm pretty, idk, nice and nonconfrontational and noncontroversial on my tumblr? I think I'm really offended by people who are tactless, though. Like, people who don't think before they speak. If you're going to say hateful things, fine. I'll be offended at those hateful things. But if you say hateful things without even knowing they're hateful you've earned my ire for the rest of your days.

18. What are some of the things you appreciate about your life? EVERYTHING MAN. EVERYTHING. I'm made so constantly aware of all of the things that are wrong and bad in the world and all of the things that people have to live through that I know what I should be grateful for and that is MOTHERFUCKING EVERYTHING. 

19. Have you ever eaten any children? Why, yes of course. What do you think we have at our family Sunday dinners? Did you think that was pot roast? Silly child.

20. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? I believe in emotions and bonds physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual (if you want to call it that, but I don't) and I think that's quite enough. C:

21. What experiences have marked you the most? Oh this one's hard. There are a lot of things that have "touched" me, I guess. A few of them are reading Like Being Killed, being made fun of until I cried by my own family and then yelling at them to stop (when they only laughed harder), and being bullied (and then being blamed for the bullying, which I will never understand).

22. What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you? Well, uh, I'm not very funny and my stories aren't very funny, but I think the funniest things were jokes made with Holly and Maddy in middle school. They were all pretty dumb in retrospect (because we were all weaboos and yeah), but damn if those weren't the best sleep overs.

23. What has been the happiest moment in your life? That is a huge fucking question, alright? I think ... hmm ... maybe ... idk man. Probably lying in the cemetery thinking about the future? Or maybe spending time with Katie or Holly? Or laughing on Linnea's belly while we all watched LotR? Or sharing a cup of tea with my dad at 2 in the morning? There are some good ones, but none are "the happiest" because that's a bullshit title when it all comes down to it, I think.

24. If I told you this was your last day on earth, how would you spend it? Lying in the grass with one of my best friends or inside with them and a good book or in the Smithsonian. But all of these would include at least one extraordinarily important person. Oh, and I would somehow have to lose my virginity. I am not dying a virgin tyvm.

25. Would you rather clean up all the dog poo in your neighborhood for three days or step in dog poo every day for a week without cleaning it? Is this really a question? Option one please.
