Guys! My hoyas arrived and were packaged with such care. I am in love with both and so happy to welcome them to the family 🥰

My string of buttons is still doing beautifully! She shot up overnight a couple of weeks ago and is growing taller ever since. It can't be a light issue; she is right under my grow light. So she must just be growing? My variegated one is already tall so I haven't seen these grow before.

I repotted my Hoya Australis Lisa finally. I'm under the impression she had aphids because I started seeing shiny, sticky spots on her leaves. I didn't think much of it until I noticed a small spot on my moonshine Philo as well. I can't think of anything that could have dropped on them that would have created it, so I'm thinking it is sap, which they produce. I sprayed the plants in that area down with insecticide and wiped the leaves as well. When I changed her substrate I rinsed the roots off completely with a water and hydrogen peroxide solution and watered with neem oil. I think this should be enough to fix the issue after I drench my moonshine Philo as well.
