My one and only Begonia. I'm so happy with her! She's been in the collection for almost three months I think. The self watering pot seems to be working amazing and the lower light spot by my humidifier is keeping her happy.

Dragon Scale Mint 🌱
At least I'm pretty sure.
I found a four leaf clover at work today! It's the first one I've ever found and ironically it came from wildflower seeds that I planted there 😂 The amount of joy I received upon finding this is indescribable.
Some randoms from yesterday. New leaf on my Dragon Scale Mint but it's acting all weird so I moved it closer to the humidifier just in case it was that. Colocasia Mojito has a new leaf! She has been a nice producer, thankfully replacing every leaf it loses. My Antoro Velvet Alocasia gave me a scare yesterday. I looked over while I was cleaning and she was entirely dropping. Her soil was bone dry. Thankfully she's parked back up. And lastly my begonia that is just killing it!

My partner went and scored a Monstera Mint for me from one of the big box stores that have been getting them. I am SO thankful he loves plants as much as I do 🥰 The BMF and other Mint are for him haha
Update: she is beautiful! There is some blackening on the leaves that I'm suspecting may be from root rot. Not uncommon from big box stores. I'm super excited to get her home and repotted!

I freaking love my Thai Constellation 🥰
Some of the new leaves and babies coming in with the season. I may have shown a couple already but these are more recent.
My BMF has a new fenestrated leaf coming! My button fern is doing super well and I'm so thrilled because it is my first and only fern so far. Hoya Pubicalyx has SO MANY new growth points that are turning into leaves! I recently put it in a new pot with new soil and she is loving it. Super happy with that. Alocasia Odora Batik has opened her new leaf and her pup has sprouted another leaf. I intend on just leaving the pup in there until it needs to be upped a pot size so hopefully it will grow big and strong before then. Lastly my Ficus Shivereana has sprouted a couple of new leaves as well.
Although I am still gathering some new plants, overall I'm not trying to add more than I'm replacing. I have removed some from the collection although they aren't coming to the top of my head which ones. They may not have been on here because I wasn't happy with them 😅 but I'm at the point in my collecting where I truly am enjoying seeing how far my plants have grown. This is year 3! My hoya above is one of my OG plants from year 1 so it is very satisfying to see all of the new growth. Patience is a virtue 🌱✨
Cute plant
Thank you!
Last new plant for a while but I HAD to!
Burle Marx Flame Monstera.
New from the nursery: Alocasia Scalprum! So excited to add her to my Alocasia collection!
Dragon Scale Alocasia appreciation post!
I've had the OG (top) for a long time. She's flowered several times and I thought was struggling most recently. Instead, she was growing five little pups! They're adorable and I love them. I have no plans to separate them simply to do so but I may whenever I need to up the pot size. As of right now I'd like to leave her alone to continue thriving!
The new leaf on my new variegated Dragon Scale is open! It's gorgeous and I love it. Not sure what caused the spots on the other leaves that have been there since I got her but she seems happy and healthy so I'm not concerned. Super excited for my journey with this one as it is one of the most rare if not the rarest in my collection 🥰
My Thai Con with another big ol leaf 😍
Sean and I stopped at Tagawa Gardens today. I love having a partner that enjoys plants as much as I do. They were well stocked and we both found some amazing plants! Our together haul is the first photo, my personal ones are pictured second.
The first Alocasia is a Pink strain but I'm not sure if it's a Princess or a Dragon. The first Anthurium is a Mag's Spaghetti, the second a mag x Crystal hybrid.
Check out this gorgeous Variegated Dragon Scale! The one in my collection is currently popping OFF, so even though this one was pretty pricey I could not leave it behind with how pretty she is.
Last but not least my first Colocasia. I don't have any Colocasias or Mojito patterned plants so I HAD to give it a try. I've heard they are fickle so my fingers are crossed so tight 🤞🏻 I've been wanting more plants with patterns like the mojito so I am even that more geeked.
What an amazing plant trip 😍
Finally upped the pot size of my Philodendron Billietiae, as well as the size of her support. I found this piece of wood at my apartment complex off to the side. To my understanding these plants can grow up to three feet tall so it should suffice 🌱 The leaves have gotten huge. I'm looking forward to seeing if the larger pot size will increase the leaf size as well because it was previously root bound. We will see 🤩
Rearranged our home yesterday, from the furniture to the main plant collection. I'm really happy with how it turned out. The plants seem more included in our living space and less off to the side. My son even helped me by spraying them with water this morning. With how dry it is here, they always appreciate a good mist.
