What would have made you like it?

I think if we'd seen more of them working as partners and being on a level playing field, I might like it more. As it is, James plays favorites and often dismisses Cordell for the sake of The Rules and I don't like that.

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

There is something to be said for the bond between two people who work together regularly and have to be able to trust each other with their lives. The foundation is definitely there even if the execution is lacking.

I like the idea of unrequited love where Hoyt's been pining and waiting for Cordell to realize his love and was secretly glad when Emily died >:)
