James tilted his head back and laughed heartily at Carina’s question. He’d known going in that doing anything Muggle-based with his friend-turned-frenemy (or maybe more, but he wasn’t ready to admit that yet) would be amusing, but he hadn’t expected the constant chatter during old-school slasher flicks. It didn’t disappoint, though, as each comment was more and more irritated than the last, until James couldn’t hold his laughter in anymore.

“Not all of us can be as smart as you, Rosier,” he reminded her, poking her in the stomach and using the teasing jab as an excuse to keep his arm wrapped around her as the movie continued. “And this was made in 1980,” he quickly added, trying not to smirk at the fact that she hadn’t moved away from his touch in the slightest.

yells at the other for leaving wet towels on the bed: Carina loves any chance to tell James he’s irresponsible. 

whines when the other forgets what they wanted after going grocery shopping: Again, Carina loves a chance to tell James he’s messed up :p But James whines about not getting his way when there’s food involved, too. 

leaves five half drank bottles of water in their room: James does it at first because he comes in from Quidditch practice, but then he likes ticking Carina off and kissing her to shut up her  lecture. 

initiates a quickie while at somewhere they shouldn’t: Carina would tease but not follow through, but James would totally start something with the intention of following through on it. 

surprises the other with their favorite fast food for dinner: James would try to steal her food from the kitchens all the time but probably eat half of it before he even gets to where she is. 

is massively hungover after celebrating their anniversary: Carina would think she could outdrink James and they’d turn it into a competition and both end up schwasted. 

argues for double stuffed Oreos over regular: James would try to encourage as many calories as possible but Carina would want the single stuffed because she knows James doesn’t like them as much and she wouldn’t have to fight him to get her fair share. 

buys $200 worth of baby things after finding out they’re expecting: James would go into giant kid mode and try to be superdad. 

insists that they each get their own popcorn at the cinema: Carina would forbid James from getting his own because she thinks he’s a child who could throw it at her... and she’s probably right.

spikes the eggnog? Joint effort. Taking each other home to their families is still nervewracking and they want to at least try to have a little fun with it. 

hangs the stockings? Carina. James is used to his mum or his sister doing everything and would just forget about it otherwise. 

leaves cookies and milk out to keep up with the santa tradition? Neither. Carina knows that if she puts them out, James will eat them all and turn into a fatty mcfatterson.

“accidentally” throws away the fruitcake: Carina, before James can do something juvenile like play with it or start a food fight. 

goes overboard on the whipped cream? James, probably. He’d think the look on Carina’s face was funny when she realized her mug was filled with more whipped cream than actual food. 

is the inevitable Christmas grinch? Carina, probably. There are SO many Wotter gatherings for her to get dragged to. 

wakes up first on Christmas? James. He’s like a large manchild. 

rolls their eyes as the same cheesy carol plays in the stores for the millionth time? Carina, because James gets way too excited every time. 

starts playing Christmas music the day after Halloween? Neither. Even James gets enough of it jus tfrom the stores and such. 

decorates the Christmas tree? Carina. She wants it to look a little bit more sophisticated than James is capable of making it look :-p
