Après une installation réussie d’une dérivé de xubuntu, l’Emmabuntus 3 1.00 sur un ordinateur portable HP DV6-6161sf, tout fonctionne correctement. Je n’aime pas utiliser le touchpad, j’ai un jolie petite souris bluetooth Lenovo, je me dis donc logiquement que je vais connecter celle-ci par bluetooth et ainsi avoir une souris.

La souris fonctionne, les piles sont neuves, elle clignote allègrement…

I really hope it's something I can fix with a fan cleaning, defrag, etc. I definitely can't afford a new comp right now and there's not really a way I can work without one these days. Auuuuugh. >n<

So my laptop has decided to pack it in....

I ran hp diagnostics on my start up and it said that the Short DST failed. My research has suggested that the hard drive is failing. Excellent.  It was even more excellent yesterday, when I had a presentation to do for and the laptop wasn't working and I had to talk pretty much off the top my head (it was awful). Evil thing.

And I'm having to use my old, heavy, excruciatingly slow Dell.

can anyone please help me choose a laptop?

its down to an hp dv6-7214nr or a macbook pro.

and the hp has tons of really great features (like fingerprint recognition and beats speakers and a lit up touchpad) and its comparatively cheaper than the macbook but it's windows 8 and there is nothing i despise more than windows 8 ugh. 

and the features of a macbook are pretty obvious. really great software, looks really nice, thin and light, etc. but idk i just don't like it as much as the hp ?? 

i really don't know and i have to figure it out today so any help would be appreciated?
