Formidable Dramione Fic: The Auction

Fan of Dramione? You're in the right place. I really enjoyed this one! It kept me engrossed throughout all 325,000 words.

This fic was a really incredible piece of work, and I have fallen in love with the writing style of this author- once again.

Expressing my gratitude for this amazing read to the creators: @lovesbitca8 and the pretty-much famous betas for this story: (@saintdionysus and raven_maden.)

Think Manacled, but less crying involved. It was fast-paced and the intricate plot kept me completely engaged the entire read.

There is enough smut to fill any Draco voids you may have in your life (trust me- I know,) and while the slow-burn is a component, it really makes the entire fic better, and the wait is well worth it.

PS While this fic can be read independently, the author suggests reading The Right Thing To Do beforehand, which I believe is a good fic to read anyways. If you can't wait to take the plunge into The Auction, though, I think we'll forgive you. It's quite frankly... irresistible. (:

Ginny has a big presence as Harry’s first friend.The fic is eventually going to be hinny, they just started 3rd year so a little patience will be needed. But what it is already is great. Famous Dramione Slow Burn

Talk about a SLOW COOKER! This one will really is the definition of slow-burn. But as we know, when done correctly, a good slow roast can keep you up at night (literally like this one I did not sleep until I finished it.)

It really is a good read! 175,000 words, just enough to get you nice and invested. I really liked the pace of this one... at no point did I think events were dull- which is hard to pull off! Credit where credit's due to @lovesbitca8.

Bonus, this has two related fics, a Midnight Sun vibe of the same story from Draco's perspective, and a Voldy-wins-AU of the story called The Auction. This is popular, I know, but I think everyone would suggest reading this fic before the Auction, even though it can be read independently.

All-Consuming Dramione Fic

Where to even being with this one... great writing style, multiple POVs, smut scenes (vast and often) kept the story pace quick, and it's pretty dark (if you're into that- and I'm guessing you are since it's Dramione you stan.)

I promise you will become immediately invested, and since I had to suffer through the emotional turmoil- so do you! haha (yeah ik fuck me right.)

Special shoutout to the author @ikorous for writing an absolutely stunning story. I tore through it, and it was all-consuming (seriously.) PS please make me your beta. I'm kidding but I'm not.

Tragic Dramione Masterpiece

Now, we all know Dramione is known for the usual emotional heart-wrenching, but this fic must be my favorite to date.

200,000 words, leaky eyes throughout. Let me state some reasons:

- better focus on PTSD than other fics, it gives raw emotions and makes the reading experience altogether more authentic

- it has a really well-thought-out and realistic evolution of character thought-process

- smut level is good and made this fic run so much deeper

- beautiful writing style

- clever and original Dramione plot

Dramione Omegaverse Fic

Think of it more as an a/b/o fic that happened to be Dramione than the other way around. I would recommend this fic to anyone who's looking for a shorter (170,000 w,) smut-filled fic to satisfy you after maybe a very depressing read. (Ex: I read this straight out of Isolation to make myself feel better.)

Two amazing things, put together. Now, this is the first a/b/o thing I've read (ik the shame don't look at me,) and it's either your thing or it isn't.

I liked this one because it was very smutty, but I must say that the fic is definitely more heavily focused on the alpha/omega aspect than the usual Dramione obstacles, even though those are there. So if you like that stuff, this fic has a good tempo and great writing courtesy of @senlinyu!

Dramione must-read: Isolation

Isolation is a popular one- I know this! (all Dramione stans hail @bex-chan-blog.)

If you haven't read it, do consider it... this is a real 280,000 word Dramione masterpiece you can't ignore. There's less smut and it's less explicit than On The Nature of Daylight, which I've previously recommended, but there was still enough for me.

The main focus is really the inner dialogue which is so captivating throughout, especially bc Bex is a realist, and the slow-evolving progression of thought for both Draco and Hermione is really remarkable.

It's long, emotionally demanding (cried multiple times), and perfect for all who love a good emotional turmoil/tragic lovers read... and who doesn't?!

PS if you don't like ff.net, there's a version on Wattpad if you're a psycho and prefer that- but I think reading the OG and supporting the author is always best!
