HWS Scenario: On their deathbeds, Ancient Greece and Fem!HRE became philosophical about life, power, and death with their very powerful husbands, Rome and England, during Pax Romana and Pax Britannica, respectively.
Different time but the same situation.
These two men keep getting stronger, while their women keep getting weaker.

But tonight, the wait was over. Tonight, he would not have to restrain himself when it came to her. Hello, welcome to my blog!
Here, I do reblog or post other content, although I am mostly interested in Holy Rome from Hetalia. If you are curious about my thoughts on him, then feel free to message me or leave a comment on one of my posts :) I love talking about him, whether the young, old, or female him. But I personally love portraying him as older and female. Despite that, I write non-ship posts about HRE as male because it is his canon gender.
I enjoy (Female/Male) HRE/HRE!Germany with different characters, either platonically, romantically, or both:
England - Hanoverian Dynasty - nominal vassalage - "death throes of one empire and the bloody baptism of the next" (Bartimaeus Sequence)
France - the Frankish Kingdom - "i wanted you dead, but now that you're gone, i want you to come back"
Papal States - Investiture Controversy - the sun and the moon - two swords - "YOu CanT DePoSED ME Im THe-"
Czechia - Kingdom of Bohemia - mistress/handmaiden trope - Czech Empire (Bartimaeus Sequence)
America - golden pair - powerful people in power - idealistic
Spain - "the empire where the sun never sets" of Charles V
Austria - Habsburg Dynasty - longest reigning monarch of the Holy Roman Empire
Prussia - a German hospital and military order - Brandenburg-Prussia
Portugal - dynastic ties, an ally of an informal ally
Hungary - women with princes in distress to save ⚔
Romano - Kingdom of Sicily - Stupor Mundi
Ottoman Empire - insert Reichskrieg DVD
Italy - first love dies or never dies
Saxony - Ottonian Dynasty - East Francia
Bavaria - "BIG BROTHER CHAMPIONSHIP"
Francia - Carolingian Dynasty - father and child
Hanover - divided loyalty (Half British, Half German)
Hesse - New World
Talking about the "HRE is Germany theory," I think Hima leans towards this theory more than not, but I hope that he would remain vague about it to please everyone. Personally, I don't want him to be Germany in canon because the Holy Roman Empire had historical differences with Germany that I feel would be overshadowed if the two ended up being the same person. I also have my own interpretation of the character, which does not align with how I interpret Germany. But I deeply deeply love using the theory for narrative purposes, and I think HRE!Germany without amnesia would be different than with.
Lucid Dream ft. HREEng
"He had told her once that she was a dream that came true. She had smiled at him. And now she was a dream that didn't come true. But she remained smiling at him nonetheless." I thought about the concept of lucid dreaming with Female Holy Rome and England. Arthur could control his dreams for a long time, and he would dream of her often, sharing his dreams with her whenever he got to spend time with her. But he wasn't able to do it anymore after her death. But that didn't stop him from dreaming of her. He dreamed of her alive and them being happy together. To him, it didn't matter if she was merely a figment of her imagination now, she was with him, and that was all that mattered. Also, his dream version of her had awareness. Basically, she was aware that he was dreaming, that she was a part of it, and that they were in love in real life. But she didn't know that she was dead in the real world. So she would ask about them in that world, what she was doing, what they were doing together, and what they were planning to do together, and when they would do something together in the dream world, she would ask him to do the same with the real her. Arthur would always smile and lie, lying to her and to himself, only to be reminded of the reality he tried so hard to suppress after inevitably waking up. Suppressing it he did again.
Also, the quoted lines were pertaining to how she remained the same even in his dream. How the real her loved him, and how she continued loving him despite being his dream version of her. She might not be alive anymore. He might not wake up after dreaming of her and be able to meet her in the real world anymore. But his mind was grief-stricken and would avoid accepting the difference. He would not let her go, even in his dream. Even if dream her would one day find out the truth and tell him to let go just as the real her had told him to. His feelings would never change, and he would die with it, even if it would take more centuries for his own death to come.
England suddenly hugging Fem!HRE from behind and kissing her and their children giggling as their father did so and then swayed with their flustered mother because how couldn't they be happy when they witnessed the love and affection between their parents? It makes me feel warmhearted to imagine this couple in the eyes of their children; to imagine their children witnessing them being affectionate with one another. Also, HRE having many states/territorial divisions made it hard for me to know who would be personified and who would be her children, nephews, nieces, and siblings. But I definitely want her to have many children, for she was a motherly person in my interpretation.
