Hi, so I know it hasn't been that much time since I send you my idea for the second part of my teacher idea. which by the way you did complete justice to you it was amazing :-) But I had to share this idea with someone before I go completely nuts, Picture this: Hiccup and Astrid in World War II saying goodbye before he goes off to fight and then promising to write to each other and know he love each other, and so on. I just had to share this before I went nuts.

Thank you! We totally loved your teacher idea. And, hey, we’re the people to come to for all your burning Hiccstrid ideas :)

Astrid sees him standing in the rain and her heart wants to rip forth from her chest. He looks handsome in his soldier uniform, and she’s going to fall to pieces if she never sees him like this again.

She breaks into a run. Her shoes smack the wet pavement, the cold wind whips her face like there are shards of glass in it, her hair whips, her heart hurts, and all she wants to do is hide Hiccup where no one can ever find him. Where no one can ever take him away from her ever again.

She dives at him and his strong arms capture her, then spin her around.

"Please don’t leave me," Astrid sobs into his shirt. 

His fingers play through her hair absently. He doesn’t speak. She’s grateful for that, because it means he’s letting her get it all out.

"I can’t do this without you," she says through her tears. "I know I seem confident all the time, but sometimes I just really need someone to cuddle with, and you’re …" She gulps down a burning, salty sob. "You’re all I have."

"You’ll still have me." Soft lips press against her hair. "In letters, in memories. I’m never going to leave you. Not completely. And I’ll be back before you even know it."

He doesn’t say it. She doesn’t say it. But they’re both thinking it: What if he isn’t?

Astrid looks up and Hiccup smiles sadly. His green eyes shine with restrained tears.

"I love you," he says, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I love you so much. And I swear I’m gonna come back for you."

"You’d better." She’d sound more threatening if she wasn’t crying like a weakling.

A smile plays at the corner of his mouth. “I will.”

"Promise?"

"Promise."

She tilts her head back and kisses him, trying to hold onto something slipping away, trying to make memories that won’t fade. And when they pull away, Astrid leans her head against his chest, listens to his heart beat, and whispers, “I love you.”

She writes it in all her letters. 

And, when he keeps his promise, when he comes back home, back to her, she says it again.

Aww, I could definitely think of a part 2! I'll put it on my list of things to write :-)

Kristanna Secret Santa!

Well you guys, it's finally here! You guys can see who is participating! I will post the list of participants under the cut, but first I will post the rules on how to play for those who are new to it. 

I am not accepting anyone else in the exchange. I have filled my quota, so please don't ask. But there should be a next time ;)

The exchange will start December 20th and end January 10th. That should be plenty of time to submit your gift to your partner. These are the days when you trade. Please don't submit your gifts until these dates. It'll help me keep track of who's received their gifts and who has not. You can start working on your project as soon as I assign you a person :)

Rules:

 You must have your Submit box open. This is how you will receive and exchange gifts! 

Since this is a Kristanna Secret Santa, your gifts and requests must have something to do with this ship and Frozen in general. That way we all have a common ground to work on.

Do NOT send a joke or hate as a gift! That will make you a douche nugget and you will be blocked and banned from any other event I may hold.

If you have a problem with the person to whom you are assigned, please contact me, tell me why, and I will get you a new person.

There is a deadline! If you will be absent on the set days, let me know, and I will contact the person who will receive your gift and alert them (you will remain anonymous. I promise).

If you do not receive a gift past the dates, I will personally give you a gift, and the other person will be banned from other events.

Do not reveal your person’s identity before the exchange. You will be disqualified!

And now, here are my steps!

Create a Wish List: This may consist of requests for drabbles, sketches, song covers, cosplays, ect. You will only receive one of the gifts, but please have more than one request on your list to give the other person variety. It’ll make it easier for me too ;) Don’t be afraid to be specific! This makes it easier on the other person to know exactly what you want with the least amount of uncertainty and ambiguity.

Along with your Wish List, create a list of your own personal trades (writing, drawing, singing, cosplaying). Also, Tell me what you are comfortable with. if you don’t want to write or draw a certain thing, please let me know!Send both of these lists together to me, please! 

After going through all of the lists, I will give you someone’s URL and a link to their wishlist. I will send them in your fanmail or inbox, so please have it open, and please do not post my messages! Let’s keep things a surprise :)

You have time to work on it as soon as you get your assignment. I will post the exchanging dates and deadlines later. 

You must give your gift to your assigned person through their Submission box on their blog! If you cannot find it, let me know, and I will contact the person. Or You can post your gift on your page and send your receiver a link to the post

Please be patient with me. I have a lot on my plate, and setting people up isn’t always easy. I will make a post when I have matched everyone up, and if you have not received a message, contact me and we will get things squared away! 

When you have posted your gift, message me so I know!

Oh the queen Victoria dress that was found recently! That is so beautiful for Anna. I thought it was the one you did where she’s facing away from us in her dress and see her back as she looks out a window. Remember ouat isn’t cannon for a dress ; )

Oh, that wasn't one I drew either! the original poster was the talent behind that and I just hit the reblog button (which is my talent ;) I don't really draw, I am an artistic potato :P 

I know OUAT isn't canon for anything, I just have strong opinions about dresses, apparently. Since I'm not invested in the plot of OUAT most of my reactions are likely to be about dresses ;)

Oh, it's not something I drew! I just reblogged this post and rambled in the tags that something like it would have been awesome. That's exactly the type of dress I would have chosen, personally.

Hi. The last one I sent you did so amazing with it. I have a kinda follow up idea: you know at the end of the first story it's said that he did marry astrid? Well what if he got her whole class to help with the proposal and they have to keep it a secret from her till Huccup pops the question. When he dose they run up to hug her and say: congratulations mrs. Haddock as opposed to calling her miss hofferson like they always did. You really are amazing and did a wonderful job before. Here's another

"Marry her?" a little kid named Tommy squeaks.

Hiccup shushes him. "Yes. I'm going to ask A - uh, Miss Hofferson to marry me."

"Isn't that icky?" a little girl asks.

"No, it's cute!" another protests.

"You guys have to keep it down," Hiccup says pleadingly. "Just do what I told you. And please, please don't tell her."

"Okay!" They say.

But when Astrid comes into the room, they all giggle and whisper excitedly. She raises an eyebrow.

"Everything all right?" she asks Hiccup.

He kisses her cheek. "Of course."

Four little kids run up to the front of the classroom and hold up pieces of papers with the letters W, I, L, and L on them.

"Will," they begin.

Another few run up and cry, "You!" as they hold up the letters.

And so until they spell out a complicated question with a simple answer. Then they all shout out in unison, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

Astrid's jaw drops open and she looks over to Hiccup, who is giggling madly into his hands.

"Well, will you?" he asks as if it's a casual question.

"Of course I'll marry you, idiot!" she says and gives him a tackle-hug. The kids cheer and jump up and down. Their cheers turn into a mixture of disgusted noises and coos when Hiccup and Astrid kiss.

"Congratulations, Mrs. Haddock!" they yell and suddenly the couple is surrounded by 30 cheering little kids, all laughing and talking.

Astrid turns to Hiccup and kisses him again. "This was amazing," she whispers. "You're amazing."

He kisses her forehead. "You're pretty amazing, too."

The kids are like their family but they're delighted to realize that they'll one day have a family of their own. And they can't wait.
