Our World to Dust // Hannah, Markus
@hrkamski liked this post for a starter
He was a classified prototype. What little information could be located in their databases on his model was uninformative at best and, at worst, an useless aggravation. When Eljiah Kamski had stepped down as the CEO of Cyberlife he had taken the blueprints for the classified RK200 prototype with him; effectively excising all mention of the unit’s original intended purpose and eventual specifications from their android catalogue. Markus was, by all rights, a Kamski model.
It was for this reason they’d brought him to her lab, hands bound at the wrists, a cruel, three-pronged control piece jammed into the plating at the back of his neck to avoid his struggling.
They wanted him analyzed; explained.
He’d cost them thousands; was still, since the revolution he had begun was flaring across the country in pockets, driven on by the fervor and passion it seemed to have gained since his facing down a riot line and telling the world that they, as a people, as a species, were alive.
They wanted him dead, but they also needed him explained. So that meant her. Hannah Kamski, Director of the Bioengineering Department and an unspoken ultimatum. ‘Explain your brother’s malfunctioning toy.’
And Markus only looked on, broad shoulders erect, his mismatched eyes filled with a wealth of iron and determination.
