There was something wrong. All the senses in her body overloading but. The house was quiet. No Chloe. None of the other girls. Something had happen like the man said.
Usually Eli would come with Connor. But it was too quiet for her liking. She had her time. Maybe she should have stayed in Heaven. She drops her bags on the floor. The sound of it echoing. "I'm home." She spoke out. No answer. She goes to the refrigerator and gets herself a glass of water and takes a sip. The tear in the sky visible but. She just walks to the couch and turns on the tv.
Breaking News. Same stuff. She flips through the channels but it's still the same. Letting out a sigh she turns off the tv. She picks up her phone dialing Elijah. It goes to voicemail.
She thinks back. To when she first encountered this world. Her husband should have just kept everything to himself like usual. It's funny but she can't seem to muster the correct reaction. She feels. Nothing. Is that why the man warned her against it? The fading sensation. She felt it. Emotions were weak within her. She loved Elijah. She loved her kids... So why can't she express it?..
At the sound of the beep she leaves a message.
"I heard chatter that Caleb is dead. Greed is nowhere to be seen. Are we really going through this again?" She chuckled. "You should have just let them leave. You didn't even want them as children. And for what? To make me happy? You know what makes me happy, Elijah? Not having to deal with whiny crybabies. Oh. I hurt your feelings because I wouldn't let you see Greed? It's your fault, Jesse. IT'S ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT!!" In the background there is a crash. Screaming and a crunch before the call ends.
"I SHOULD HAVE SHOVED THAT FUCKING RING DOWN YOUR THROAT! THEN NO ONE WOULD BE FUCKING HAPPY! HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!" She sits back down against the couch. Blood stains covering it from torn wings. Her body relaxes and she's back in a calm state.
