@hrsebin continuation from here!
sebin wasn’t paying much attention to where he was going—he was far too busy laughing at his own joke that he had yet to get to the punchline of. he was laughing so intensely, in fact, that tears were in his eyes and he was having trouble catching his breath. he heard soojin’s voice, but unfortunately, d i d n ‘ t process what she was saying to him.
“what di—“ he began to ask, but cut himself off when he felt himself losing his footing. he flung his arms out to his sides, flailing them helplessly in an attempt to catch his balance. but it was too late; his fate had been decided. he fell to the ground before he was even fully able to analyze the situation.
worse yet? as soon as he hit the ground, his laughing resumed. as if he hadn’t laughed enough already.
soojin hoped that she had told him to not slip sooner. with him laughing at his own joke, she didn’t want to ruin the moment for him. however, once she did tell him to not slip, it was just too late.
the next thing she knew, the younger boy had fallen, and soojin couldn’t catch him in time to not get hurt. she just stares at the fallen boy with wide eyes, her mouth was opened wide. despite of him falling and landing onto the ground, he was still laughing.
“a-are you okay?” soojin squats down after a minute or two that passed and she reaches over to him, “you’re not hurt anywhere right?”
