It was a known fact (at least to himself), that Daehyun had a lot on his plate ever since joining university. Between studying for a degree in architecture and working part-time at a bar, he didn’t have much time left to get involved into too many of the school’s activities, but he also wasn’t the kind of person to not get involved at all. He enjoyed meeting people, encouraging bake sales and sport teams. He also liked going to parties once in a while, when studying became too much and he didn’t have to work. It was a good way to relax. Some parties were calmer than others. You never knew what to expect.
He had heard through the grapevines that there would be one thrown that night and he had been invited to come. He had also been told to bring friends if he wanted to. It couldn’t have come at a better time. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and started typing away, pulling up convos with friends and was just about ready to invite them, when he looked up to avoid bumping into someone and his gaze flitted down a few steps below where he was and his eyebrows shot up in surprise when he recognized the person walking down ahead.
It had been a while since he had last seen him and he hadn’t expected to find him in such a big university, but here he was. Daehyun instantly pocketed his phone and hurried his pace down the steps until he had reached the bottom and he threw his arm over the guy’s shoulder. “Sebin! I can’t believe it’s you! Hi!” he exclaimed, moving around to face the other and taking this opportunity to remove his arm from around him. He smiled brightly at him, clearly happy to see him here.
