okay so. some prefaces:

this au is... kind of completely free of the game. its earth c free of the trappings of the game, or at least the part where it’s the harbinger of the apocalypse and there are ‘chosen children’. so doing anything in the ‘session’ prompt is almost entirely hypothetical. it’s hilarious bc i knew this while making the prompt

second, i do have the hc that dirk doesn’t know a lot of terms for a lot of human things. so does roxy tbh. but this joke was like. somthing i saw a long time ago. like. i-was-15-and-in-high-school long time ago. i’m pretty sure i misremembered it but it made me chuckle so who cares.
