ayyy it’s @jaderoseweek !! i was up so i decided to doodle some stuff.

today’s theme: young love/post canon interactions. i chose young love.

the first few are basically thumbnails so sorry about that quality but... jade has a treehouse and invites rose in for an impromptu sleep over. she built everything herself and uses it for a place to draw and occasionally garden; she starts some of her more delicate baby plants/ones that need less sunlight up here.

the inside of the treehouse is pretty much plastered with an array of posters, drawings and stickers, just about as disorganized as her bedroom. she’s got tributes to her best friends in there as well

rose is a little bit nerdy and strange to their classmates, but jade takes IMMEDIATELY to her so she never actually catches any crap for it. theyre long time elementary school buddies after that and rose is just kinda surprised by jades unceasing friendly attitude. she’s definitely first to realize she has a crush on jade, and jade stays kinda oblivious for a while even though she’s always caught herself thinking about how smart and funny and pretty rose is. by the time she figures it out they’re just starting high school
