When Stiles steps into the room that the Hale house has conjured for him to stay in, the first thing he sees is a window already open, letting in a pleasant breeze. The second is a door in the right-hand wall.

Laura clears her throat, scratching at her nose. “That leads to Derek’s room.”

Stiles’ eyebrows shoot up and a laugh bursts out before he can stop it. Now he understands how the pack knew this room probably wouldn’t belong to his dad (which, gross).

He looks over his shoulder at Derek who’s glaring pointedly at everything except for Stiles with pink-tipped ears.

“Presumptuous. I like it,” he says to the house, patting one of the walls and throwing a wink at Derek hovering in the doorway.

When the Hale pack transitions to a new Alpha, Stiles is thrilled to be assigned to Beacon Hills to try out as their new Emissary. He and his dad are immediately enamoured with the idyllic little town, fitting right in with the rest of the Hales – except for Derek. The new Alpha shows no signs of welcome, but it will be hard for him to stay stubborn in the face of his family’s encouragement and a sentient house that has plans for the two of them whether Derek likes it or not.

I love John's stupid smile. Also i didnt sleep much yesterday so I read some extra pages and jotted my thoughts. Gonna try hit 1000 today.

pg. 634 - The coolest part of Homestuck is hands down the alchemy system. Also I said it before but John's weapons are so cool.

pg. 644 - Oh shit! I think this is the first Toby Fox track in Homestuck.

pg. 651 - Looks like we get spoiled another characters silhouette at the end of the flash here. Who could that ever be!

pg. 663 - I love the designs of the ogres.

pg. 665 - This is straight up one of my fav tracks in all of Homestuck and I love this flash so much. Also we get to see presumably GG at the end.

pg. 669 - They do point out the power cell.

pg. 685 - The Mayor is perfect.

pg. 689 - I wish WV didn't eat that. Will come back to bite them in the ass.

pg. 702 - Ok, I forgot we got paintings of the planets here. pretty neato.

pg. 716 - We're getting a snapshot into the future again.

pg. 721 - more foreshadowing that light will lose the battle.

pg. 723 - PM! Another great character.

pg. 739 - Oh boy, the introduction to Appearifiers.

pg. 757 - WV: Ascend is such a great panel. Really shows just how cool this comic can get. It both answers and asks so many questions. WV and PM are on earth where the meteors fell. How far into the future? Whats the deal with the frog temple?

pg. 759 - Damn I didn't realize how early they drop the god tier names!

pg. 766 - I like Jade's character later on in the comic, can't wait to see her grow. Also act 3 start!

pg. 797 - We've been mostly getting Jade's intro here but this panel has some crazy foreshadowing.

pg. 822 - I love these pan-out shots with chill music playing. Also we see that Jade lives in the same place WV will be in the distant future, the frog temple.

pg. 826 - OMG. I totally forgot the chumhandles where spoiled THIS early. That's crazy.

pg. 830 - I think it's cute that the kids share music together.

pg. 833 - The proper introduction to the Midnight Crew and the Felt. Also Dead Shuffle is a bop.

pg. 836 - Its crazy how almost none of the music in this comic misses. Every song is on point.

pg. 838 - Jade is shown here to have some kinda way to see the future.

pg. 843 - I love the endless loop of John getting his shit kicked in.

pg. 845 - I cant say enough how interesting I find the alchemy stuff in this comic.

pg. 857 - What on earth is this thing!

pg. 859 - The first interaction between the "Trolls" and our group of protagonists. They sure don't seem very friendly but I love CG so much.

pg. 870 - Seems like PM has found another weird ship. Looks like the entry apple john used also spawned a whole ass tree and grew a ship in the future.

pg. 871 - Another banger flash, I didn't mention it last time but the sword fighting is somehow really cool in this art style, as simple as it might be

pg. 874 - Interesting that it seems like there is other Sburb sessions happening on this earth.

pg. 879 - These guys drop hella amounts of grist.

pg. 891 - So this guy looks like Spade Slick from the midnight crew.

pg. 905 - what exactly is this stuff doing here? Is this to hint that mom used to live down here?

pg. 907 - omg I love this cat.

pg. 911 - Just pointing out Jade's outfit in the picture here.

pg. 930 - Jasper's story with the apperifier is awesome here.

pg. 934 - So whoever was running this lab was experimenting with genetic cloning? And the letters GCAT are important somehow?

pg. 938 - Jasper's dead body is not in fact incinerated!

pg. 943 - fucking crazy dog.

pg. 953 - Who is doing the typing here?

pg. 955 - Ah so your name is Jack Noir, not Spades Slick.

pg. 958 - Guess he has a boss. Also that's an interesting ring on that finger.

pg. 980 - Another banger flash with amazing tracks. Shows off the dog's crazy ass powers.

pg. 993 - A second Jade?

pg. 996 - She can fly!

pg. 1000 - WOW. 1000 pages in and were about a quarter through act 3. I truly enjoy the first few acts of Homestuck so this was a real pleasure. Also I can't believe the 1000th page is John and Jade discussing the trolls.

We got a lot done today! I'm excited to see the story progress and just dump more and more information and questions on the reader. Also I love this charming gif of the snow.
