Whoooo boy. We’re in for a ride, huh? I guess these are just becoming reaction posts now, since there’s no real theories in this one. First off we have, under the cut:

The tail end of that Candy route! Already know it’s gonna be bad when Vrissy’s freaking the fuck out. Despite the fact that Harry seems kind of terrified of being in mortal danger, he’s also willing to help, which is good! Nice to know he’s actually on his girlfriend’s side. For now. We also know now that:

Gamzee’s dead. Straight up for real. No fake outs or whatever the fuck, he’s gone, and that’s a fact. Which I could not be more thankful for. And I’m not the only one! Because we’re getting snippets of the man I’ve literally been waiting for since this whole thing started. My good good bitch, it’s:

COMMANDER KARKAT- well, Commander Karkat’s sick eyepatch, but still. He’s here! (And I have a fic about him coming up but don’t worry about that too much. The other thing that actually surprised me was his last line of those few panels,

Where he needs to talk to John. I haven’t read too much of the Epilogues, so seeing that was kind of like a gut punch, considering he wasn’t in the comic yet! Of course that also made me freak the fuck out, because holy shit, John fucking Egbert! Obviously there’s the whole thing with Harry and the others in his room, but John is finally okay-enough to be within the narrative again. He’s okay with a purpose. Because from what I did read of the Epilogues, he told Karkat that he didn’t feel ready for such a large responsibility.  But by the end of this update?

He is. And I’m proud of him for that.
