There is now a vignette for TEAL set directly after the party scene of the epilogue. It focused on Karkat trying to reconnect with Dave, with others finding themselves stuck in the middle.
Despite Karkat’s own desires, they’d drifted apart. All of them had, Karkat often mourned. He rarely saw any of the humans, but Dave especially was a difficult man to run into, more so as time went on. A lot had changed indeed and, looking at the blonde human now, Karkat wondered just how much of Dave’s easy smile and laid back posture were a part of his put on persona or if the entire spectacle he was witnessing was simply the end result of sweeps passing by, without Karkat being there to observe the changes happening in increments.
