CHOI TWINS THROUGH THE SEASONS ⤵
in season one, the twins are shackled by their parents expectations and this is shown through the clothes they wear, along with their hair, with both of them dressing like your stereotypical prep, rich kids, and wearing their hair long because that is how their mother likes it.
season two is the start of them taking control of their lives, and this is reflected through their dramatic style changes/hair cuts. achilles cuts their hairin an act of rebellion, while artemis - trying to lessen the negative attention achilles will recieve from their parents - dyes her hair black and gets a streak, something she’s always wanted but has been forbidden to do. (they then both go blonde, for fun.) artemis continues to dress very preppy (because she enjoys it when it’s not being forced upon her) while achilles begins to dress in a more goth/alternative style.
in season three, both twins are in a very happy place mentally, and this is partially attributed to them finally being able to express themselves in a way that reflects their personalities and brings them joy. achilles grows their hair back out and dresses in a kitschy, eclectic mix of masculine and feminine styles, while artemis embraces her more masculine, sporty side, while still remaining the prep we know and love.
