'The Contender' quest is now available and I'm so scared because I actually haven't had the time to think about Chloe and Ace's dynamic much. Because I do NEED to work on it- because she already has a history of being betrayed by one of her closest friends. So that happening again would absolutely send her on a spiral of wanting revenge. Not just from taking her school away from her, but also for the girl who outed her so many years ago. She wants to make sure no one will treat her like that again.

the ace storyline is just really fucking sad and maybe thats on me for making my mc a ball of anxiety and RSD whose self worth and will to live revolves around his school which does not gel with the whole “becoming a politician only to disappoint your classmates and get betrayed by your advisor who wants to shut your entire school down over something petty” arc

it just hurts to play and i like the quests but boy none of this will go away til i finish it. like this is all mandatory huh. thats cool
