J: What’s their sense of humor like?

He tries to crack jokes, but Julian is the type that is unintentionally funny more often than not

U: What’s their voice like?

Everyone has a tendency to say that Ezra has the most sultry voice around, but Julian can more than turn on the charm when the time is right. He’s been able to talk himself out of a speeding ticket on more than one occasion

L: What is their favorite board game?

He and Hope grew up playing Chutes and Ladders together and he still holds a soft spot for the worn out box that gets pulled out of the hallway closet during holiday breaks

I: On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do they love themselves?

Usually Julian’s self-esteem is a strong 7 or above, but he gets down days like anyone else

A: What are/were this character’s best subjects in school?

When Kallie helps him out, he actually does really well in English. He’s also got good grades in whatever he puts his effort into

N: What do they usually eat for breakfast?

Protein is the first order of every day but some fruit never hurt, either. Julian is a big believer in the power of breakfast so it tends to be his largest meal

2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs? Oh, interesting question. I’m partial to different OCs for different reasons, so it usually depends on context. But overall, I think I like Ocean Jones the most. He’s terrible and horrible and no good and very bad, but he’s also fragile and tender and complex and super authentic. He’s me if I were not me but someone else entirely, if that makes sense.

4. A character you rarely talk about? Many! Yusuf is probably one of my least-mentioned OCs. He’s super cute and pretty shy and I love him to bits. He’s a writer in HSS and I am debating whether or not to add him as a screenwriter in HWU.

6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related? Considering how there are only so many customization options between HSS/HWU, yes. But I’ve found that I really like constructing families and developing sibling dynamics between my OCs, so I usually eventually end up making them cousins or siblings down the road.

8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here! I do! I roleplay as Zamzam Abdi in camp hss right now. She’s a DJ/virtuoso in HSS and composer/music mogul in HWU. If I’m being honest, she’s the OC I’ve channeled all of my momfriend tendencies into, which makes her super fun to rp.

10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?Another tricky question! I’ve found that the OCs I developed before finding a faceclaim are the most complicated I have, simply in terms of design if for no other reason. For example, Querída, one of my cheerleaders, is a half-Turkish half-Mexican trans girl with an identical twin brother. Finding an appropriate faceclaim for her and her twin Refiye has been very difficult. I’m using Maya Jupiter in a pinch atm but I’m still searching for a (younger, non-cis) fit.
