I love how Hailee has said literally nothing about pride. Like girl you were in one of the most iconic shows about sapphic yearning?? Is you dumb?? Do you think one of the reasons Hailee agreed to work with Michael and Ryan was to silence the criticism from many of her fans who are considering her a racist for happily sleeping with her racist almost-husband, as if to say, "Hey, look, I can work with Black actors, I'm not racist," or something like that?

heres the thing with a lot of white women that i think people dont understand/like to grasp. (she's technically not FULLY white. i know. dont even with me. she looks white and unless you KNOW people perceive her as white. she has an extreme proximity to whiteness so...it does apply to her) a lot of white women see themselves above it. they're like "well *I* don't believe that so..." while never doing a single damn thing to dismantle or even mildly oppose the system they so greatly benefit from. a lot of them aren't *necessarily* outright racists. a lot of them wouldnt say slurs or outright discriminate against POC. BUT they will marry dollar store adolf supporters without batting an eye while still thinking theyre good, nice, wholesome people. they wont rock the boat. they'll just calmly go along because THEY dont see themselves as the problem. that's THOSE people. over there. the vocal racists. that's what makes so many white women quietly dangerous. because they drag the rest of us women down with them. and she's proven time and again that she's one of those white women.

do i think she is personally a racist? probably not. but she's fine marrying a man who openly supports a racist, misogynist, homophobic fascist. she's willingly marrying into a family full of and proud of the fact they support that. so what does that REALLY say about her? by context clues its also veryyyyyy obvious that her brother is SUUUUUUPER right wing. and he's her "best friend". so again...what does that say about her? sure, you can't pick your family but you also don't have to support them if they stand behind vile shit.

we're at a point where if you're not actively fighting against this you're fucking complicit. and she is. i dont care how she personally feels about it. complicity in what's happening is just as bad as openly supporting it. and at this point, its even hard to say she doesn't fully support it on the downlow either. because if you're in a vipers nest for years and they haven't bitten you...maybe you're a viper too????

she used to post shit about registering to vote/voting being important in all the previous elections. you can look back and find old stories and posts from her still floating online. guess which is the first election she hasnt said shit??? not a peep. 2024. what was different this year? she's dating him lol.
