Idk if this will sound "off," but would God even notice that Lucy died (which he probably does by the end), or does He simply ignore it?

I think God would be accepting that it had happened but it would be with a heavy-heartedness. Lucifer was his favourite once after all. But alas, it'd be too little too late from God.

Where did God and the angels all go? Did they make a new earth with humans and stuff?

Angels went back to their plane of existence and their job currently is to maintain everything and keep it going - scattering souls to the stars, ensuring blessings and miracles are given to the right people at the right time, etc.

God on the other hand has moved on to some other part of the universe to start some new project with a few of his most trusted angels (Michael, Uriel, etc.). Whatever they're doing isn't known to anyone other than them...

I was trying to read the Bible to get context for HTB, and oh my gosh I thought HTB was edgy or something because it said God abandoned them all, but no, it's worse in the Bible (as far as I know). He literally killed most of the humans (except his favorite family) and then said "I promise I won't do it again, but to be fair, you all suck, yes even the babies who were just born, so I was justified." 😦

Old Testament God do be a little silly like that huh. Every other Book, He throws a temper tantrum about something and kills a lot of innocent people for it.

In HTB, I aim to present God as someone who has made mistakes and isn't perfect. He started the cycle and we, as creatures made in His own image, continue to perpetuate it.

#hail true body #mustang answers!#htb god #on the other hand. htb is far more kind to jesus because he was trying his best to be a good person and admitted when he was wrong #additionally. like my author notes say. i am not against religion nor am i mocking people for what they believe /gen #i am just writing and exploring things from my own experience of having been a christian when i was younger #and mark doesn't stop being a christian! he just redefines what it means to be one for himself #he sees all the ways it isn't helping him and fixes it. he makes it a source of love and support even though his grandparents tried to make-#it a source of fear. because i think that's how religion should be. it should be a thing that helps you be kind to everyone no matter what #it shouldn't be something you get to hide behind and hate people because of #the old testament is OLD for a reason #you're supposed to follow the NEW #anyway. ramble over lol #sorry about that 😅

If an angel (other than Lucifer) saw m!Cesar, Daniel, or Adam, would they kill them or try and help them be good?

They would be bound to kill them without hesitation. That would be what God wants and what God wants is what angels want, too. It's not that angels are lacking a moral compass or a knowledge of right and wrong, but they are fiercely loyal to God and always believe that the means justify the ends.

Lucifer saying, "I am nothing like Him" in response to Gabriel pointing out the similarities between him and their Father is unironically a banger scene in the notes I have for HTB Part 6.

God didn't want Luci to follow a path different from what He wanted him to, and later Luci also basically forces Adam to walk through a single path with no visible road cuts

Both parents want their child to fit into a mold they have created for them, and that ends up in the child eventually lashing out against them in some form or another
