What would be more desirable: Romans wing colour or a pure metallic gold?

Roman’s, because he does have metalic feathers but they’re also a gradient of red on the other side which means he has 2 desirable features instead of just 1. These are birbs; more is more.

What if when the four of them are old, Virgil is the only one still capable of flight so trains to be able to be a carrier (without the others knowing) so he can take the others up for one last flight. First Lo, as a thanks for his wings, then Ro. He waits for the perfect day (exactly the first time Pat took him in the air) to take Pat up and after Pat had his last flight, Virgil donates his mechanical wings to a museum so he can live the remainder of his life with his friends on equal ground.

You know, I was skeptical of this idea when I first started reading it (I haven’t put in a lot of thought about elderly folks and flying, or what it would take to be a carrier) but by the end I was in love. This is canon. <3

Does Roman have like body guardards or something? Because I can only image the kind of hate he gets from some people and if her has ever gotten threats

Nah, he’s actually quite popular. He’s never really gotten threats–people are more likely to suck up to him and try to be on his good side so he can help elevate their status.

Did Roman and Patton ever try to be in a romantic relationship together because that's what everyone wanted/ assumed of them before settling on best buds?

Nope! After they became friends, that’s all they ever were. That’s all they ever wanted to be, and Patton is super strong-willed, so even if Roman might have otherwise caved to social pressure, Patton wouldn’t. Roman did worry at first, but he talked to Patton about it and Patton assured him that just because they had gorgeous wings, that didn’t mean anyone else had any right to tell them how to live their lives. 

So no, they’ve only ever been best friends. <3

So Patton's famous because he's Patton. Virgil will be famous for being with Patton, and for getting the first prosthetics. Logan will be famous for giving them to Virgil, and for dating Roman. Roman is famous for being with Logan, and for his wings. This group is going down in history, I love it.

Question? You said that Roman is suuuper famous, like Patton (the mini god) is. And they got shipped together often. Any idea why he would be well know as well?

He’s a royal (the word for metallics). A golden royal, which is like…THE rarest. (Yellows and oranges aren’t that uncommon, but golden metallics are. Silver metallics are far more common.) Then the tops of his wings are gorgeous too–vivid, bold, bright red, with a hint of a gradient on the primaries (the tips of the primaries darken to an almost burgundy/purplish hue). 

He’s also just attractive. Fine features, excellent build, from an already-famous family…it all came together to make him quite famous, too. Not really in Patton’s class, but then again, no one else is in Patton’s class. 

So that, combined with the fact that Patton and Roman became best friends and were constantly seen together, made them an obvious target for the celebrity relationship gossip columns.

I just read the ask that talked about Sarah, and im just thinking about her watching Roman become a celebrity through news and social media, and seeing him grow back into the kind little boy she helped raise. And one day (maybe after ro is like "i love my monochrome boo") she sends him a message on social media telling him how proud she is of the person hes become.
