trophy wife billy: thoughts?
OR OR OR billy having a sort of “job” in his 20-30s that consists of him being a pretty ring on some old rich persons finger as a sort of “last hurrah” or “fuck you” to their (the older rich persons) family (maybe their families lost contact or only use said old rich person for money and STILL expect something good in the will) and so the old rich person pays billy to have the BEST week of their life and then gifts their ENTIRE LIFE SAVINGS- (or at least a nice portion of it,, probably just some pretty pennies bc THAT much money might be a bit too much...)- to billy INSTEAD of the ungrateful family.
AND MAYBE- billy is so used to his clients(?) being these old rich people lookin for one last hurrah that he is absolutely DUMBFOUNDED when his most recent client is a young (a little older than billy himself) mr. steve “the hair” harrington who “hired” billy just because steve was utterly BORED OUT OF HIS MIND in his families mansion with only the maid to talk to that he just decided to rent a friend for a week or so.
LMAO SORRY THIS IS SO LONG I GOT KINDA CARRIED AWAY ALSO DOUBLE SORRY IF IT MAKES NO SENSE IT IS VERY LATE HERE AND THIS IS JUST A RAMBLE <333
orz Don't make me write this lol it's too good and I have too many wips. I love the idea of Billy coming into a shit ton fuckload of money. It's just *chef's kiss* ~
He can still have his own fortune for this, but I want Steve to be like FULL RICH BOY IN A MANSION, you know what I mean? Like what Addams family dumped this pretty boy in a house all alone?
Billy doesn't even need this job anymore, but the gifts from his patrons are always interesting, and who's this young guy? So he indulges himself.
But Steve is anything but what he expected.
I have 2 ideas: either his parents have died and he's inherited his father's big-time business. OR he's inherited everything but he's literally got like one billion dollars to his name, so what does he do?
If the first, it would be a bit of a criminal/mobster direction because Steve would rule that empire with an iron fist. A lot of old, pent up and lingering pressure from daddy dearest, but.....this man in the house is like, super sweet? It's such a dichotomous situation that Billy wants to stick around and figure out.
OR, the second, Steve is a ghost in his own house. No job. Nothing to do. More money than he'll ever be able to spend on his own. He full on Lilo's on the floor, lying on the floor just staring at the ceiling having regular existential crises because he's worth a billion dollars but no one's made him believe he's worth anything. What's the point of money if he doesn't have friends to spend it on?
Enter: Billy, glutton for money and affection - the latter of which he doesn't even know yet.
