Headcanon: Snotlout and Fishlegs fall in love
“Uh oh, I’m losing power on the Gronckle! Snotlout, do something!” ~Fishlegs
Fishlegs gets scared by the Smothering Smokebreaths and jumps on Snotlout to hide behind.
Snotlout is stunned to silence when Fishlegs gets all tough and ransacks Snotlout’s stuff, searching for the Changewing egg (Snotlout is showing a submissive side perhaps? Fishlegs is showing a dominant side perhaps?)
When Fishlegs is talking about Hookfang’s illness and loss of flames, Snotlout doesn’t yell at him. Fishlegs responds in a gentle, soft tone.
Fishlegs and Snotlout get really competitive about who the best dragon trainer is. Could just be competitive teenage boys, but could possibly be them subconsciously trying to impress each other.
Snotlout stares at TB with puppy-love eyes and follows him around like a lost puppy.
Snotlout fangirls and blushed about TB.
“How much do we love this guy?” ~Snotlout
“I’m just thinking of what might have been. You broke my heart, Thor. You broke it right in two.” ~Snotlout with a sad expression and a kiss on Fishlegs’ cheek.
When Fishlegs and Hiccup find the Catastrophic Quaken, Fishlegs wants to drive the Quaken out. Snotlout offers to help Fishlegs.
“You came back?” ~Snotlout with a open, happy expression.
Snotlout sasses Fishlegs, and when Fishlegs says, “you want to do this Snotlout?” with a tough face, Snotlout immediately backs off.
Fishlegs teases Snotlout about his cute little lip quiver and Snotlout gets embarrassed.
When the Speed Stingers are attacking, Snotlout suddenly feels selfless and heroic, and when a group of them are closing in on Ruffnut, Hookfang, Meatlug and Fishlegs, Snotlout grabs the injured Stinger and takes off, drawing the rest of the pack after him.
