I always thought of Fishlegs’ mom as like the main village baker because he said that hiccup really liked his mom’s crab cakes or smth. but i’m interested to know like the importance of the others’ parents

I feel like he has this grandma who runs a bakery and she looks really sweet but she’s like the granny from hoodwinked because if you try to open your own bakery the entire ingerman family will destroy you. If this makes sense.

Do y'all ever have that moment when you're drawing when you've drawn something really detailed, and it takes you ages to do it, and then you zoom out, and you realise "fuck, that part was meant to be hidden by something"

Welp, I just did that, I'm working on an animation, and I'm currently drawing Fishlegs from httyd and I spent just a 'little' too much time on his tattoo only to realise that, that arm is hidden behind Astrid

I feel like Fishlegs is the kind of person to force his friends to ask him questions so he can answer. Like about literally anything. From quizzing to just mundane stuff.

I keep thinking about the idea of Gobber being related to Fishlegs' family, making them like uncle and nephew. Seriously, it won't leave my head, and i imagine the gang only discovering much later that Gobber is Fishlegs' uncle, the signs were right in front of them, but nobody paid much attention
