Happy ending: Cheza needed to bloom to fix the broken planet. When she blooms and all the flowers and nature come back, she makes sure to resurrect her pack, and the three humans (Hubb, Cher, and Quint).
Also, the pack (mostly Hige and Toboe) start referring to the humans as their “adopted stray humans.”
