𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨    𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣'𝙩    𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩    𝙚𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚    𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣    𝙮𝙤𝙪    𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚    𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧.    they    always    involved    soft    passive    aggressive    sentences    and    wanting    nothing    but    to    be    somewhere    else.    but    now    with    percy    and    grover    and    the    rest    of    the    seven,    you    can    help    but    realize    you’re    thankful    for    them.    realize    that    you’re    luckier    than    most.    human    and    otherwise.    the    smile    that    graces    your    lips    has    never    been    truer    as    you    move    towards    grover.    another    year    alive,    another    year    that    you    have    them,    a    thanksgiving    you    can    enjoy,    ❝  the    food    should    be    ready    soon,    piper    and    hazel    threw    me    out    though,  ❞    the    laugh    comes    easy,    no    real    hard    feelings    about    being    thrown    out.

        ❛  do  you  think  regina  would  like  this  one ?  ❜  she  holds  the  lace  top  up  for  cady  to  see,  her  own  eyes  inspecting  the  detail  from  the  back.   it  was  pretty  (  and  pretty  expensive  ),  but  gretchen  had  thought  the  light  blue  off - shoulder  top  she  owned  was  pretty  too,  and  just  last  week  regina  had  made  a  comment  on  how  she  “didn’t  have  the  shoulders  for  it”  at  lunch.   ❛  maybe  we  should  send  a  picture  of  it  to  her  for  her  opinion.  ❜

Eyebrows furrowed, Lena leans closer to Peter. “ And what do you know that I don’t, hm ? “ She questions, trying to keep stoic look, as if she’s trying to appear intimidating. Which fails, as the corners of her lips were twitching, a sign she was trying to fight off a smile. 

The stoic look breaks after a few seconds and a playful grin appears in it’s place. “ Okay, seriously. What do you know, Peter ? If you don’t tell me, I’m just gonna keep asking ! “

❛ you know , i hadn’t ever actually been to a real beach before last year. that’s odd , isn’t it ? ❜ even then , last year’s trip had been out of necessity rather than replenishment , and considering he’d had to dig a drave on it , he hadn’t truly been able to enjoy it , had he ? same with camping , and looking back at both experiences , he finds himself a bit irked about the circumstances. he imagines it’s just another way of coping , focusing his anger on the little things rather than the more aggravating factors. it’s easier that way.

the thing is , nothing is easier.
