“duke! hey, man.” robby greeted him with an enthusiastic bro hug. it was half handshake, half actual embrace. “you remember dennis?” he pointed to his protege and new boyfriend.
duke smiled and nodded, “how could i forget?” looking dennis up and down with a lingering grin on his face, duke continued, “a sweet little thing like him doesn’t just fade away.”
that made dennis blush and look down, feet shuffling on the stained concrete of the garage. “hi, duke.”
“yall ride here?” duke was asking robby, but his eyes never left dennis.
robby slapped dennis’s back in a proud, jovial gesture. “yep, he’s finally sitting loose on the saddle.” he slid his hand to dennis’s hip opposite from him and pulled the younger man in closer roughly. the touch in front of someone else made dennis’s insides flutter.
it had taken close to a month of convincing, but dennis had given being a bike bunny a shot. he always wore his helmet (robby did too…now). dennis really just held on for dear life, while simultaneously enjoying the vibrations in between his legs. the version of the sabbatical robby had gotten was infinitely better than what he’d planned. sure, it was filled with therapy, two medication trials, and anxious phone calls from jack just ‘checking in,’ but there had also been a funny, unexpected, all consuming bonus. dennis. dennis in his bed, at his kitchen table, on the back of his bike.
and now that duke was fully recovered and back at work, robby could introduce his two favorite people properly, outside of PTMC.
and…yeah. robby knew how duke would be. they shared a similar predisposition to what duke referred to as ‘sweet little things.’ maybe robby was proud, maybe robby wanted to show off, maybe robby wanted to share.
duke had been there for him when he felt so alone. duke had seen it when no one else had. duke gave him something to live for. the least robby could do was show him a good time.
duke leered at dennis, voice going a little husky, “you got good hips kid?”
dennis cleared his throat, suddenly feeling it constrict. “i-um-i think so?” it came out like a question. he was suddenly unsure about what this all was. it didn’t feel like any of the other times robby introduced him to people.
duke ignored the uncertainty and directed his next question at robby. “think you’ll let me look under the hood?”
