I really like your webcomic. Sorry if this is weird but is your art featured in the back of the murder on the rockport limited graphic novel? One of the drawings looks like your style.
God I wish, but no. I'm happy you like my comic tho! ;)

Sorry if the image is weird tumblr wouldn’t let me send in more than one so I just put them together. I recently moved to a new apartment and since the move some of my plants are getting sick? I’ve had the donkeys tail and fairy tale castle for a year now and neither of them have had problems until now. The aloe is pretty new. I water everything like monthly and I know that the two older plants are in a soil made specifically made for succulents and cactus’s. all three pots have drainage holes. They all get pretty good light from my new window. I don’t know what to do! Help!
SuccyGirl:
Your new environment is probably much different to them compared to where they used to live. Your fairy castle might be a bit sunburnt, I can’t quite tell, the ends Do Not look good at all. If they’re mushy I would cut them off to be honest.
Your Donkey’s tail looks like it’s rotting pretty badly, only way to save that would be to cut above the rot if you’re able, if it’s reached the top of the stems however it’s toast unfortunately and there’s no way to save it.
As for the Aloe I’m not sure, sometimes they like to throw tantrums and be drama queens. It could be it’s soil, too, which looks very organic.
I would recommend you repot all of them, commercial cactus soil is too moisture retentive for succulents and cacti. They always have to be mixed at least half/half with more grit (like Perlite or Pumice) or you’ll have problems with them retaining moisture and rotting your plants.Your new apartment might be more humid then your last place and the soil is retaining that moisture.
In this house we love and appreciate grass

Can I ask a question? Roughly how much money do you have to spend per month for keeping rats? I’m thinking about getting 2 if my friends and I move off campus next year but I want to make sure I can afford the upkeep for food and stuff before I commit to getting them since I wouldn’t want to mistreat them due to finances.
Hi!
The monthly upkeep is little to none, really, apart from when I go on a rampage buying hammocks or treats (I bought £40 worth of hammocks in December because why not). I buy food every few months (around £15 maybe), and a big bag of bedding (I think it was around £20) was bought in like September and I’m still just over halfway through.
However! The upfront cost of getting rats is A Lot. A good cage is expensive unless you’re lucky enough to find one second hand. Then you need to buy a wheel (proper sized ones aren’t cheap), bedding, food, hammocks, toys (chewy things, ropes, small ledges…), a carrier cage, water bottles, treats, cleaning products, a litter box, litter… All this before you even get your rats!
Then, you could need to drop a lot of money at the vets with next to no notice. I don’t know where you are from, but I do think I live in one of the cheapest places for vet bills (Northern England) and still, for example, dropped nearly £150 in November at a week’s notice for a tumour removal (that price includes the first check up and meds as well). Rats will almost definitely need several vet trips during their life, even if it’s just a respiratory infection (which are VERY common), you’ll be spending money on the vet appointment and on antibiotics. Vet trips are the most expensive part of having rats.
So to be honest, if you’re asking that question you may be better off not getting rats until you are more financially stable. I have sadly seen several occasions where people haven’t taken their rats to the vets because they live pay check to pay check and don’t have the money. Once, someone bought rats on a whim and then posted in a group that same day like “okay so I literally have £5 in my bank account, what cages do people recommend?” Obviously these are extremes, but you really do need to have the funds to be able to pay for any sudden rat bills.
If you do decide to get rats, maybe have a savings account as a vet fund and but some money in every month. People often do this, as a kind of “insurance” as actual insurance is very overpriced for rats and not worth it.
I hope I’ve helped and haven’t come across as too harsh! Feel free to message me with any more questions!
I have some cool ace positivity! This is my first year at college and after my parents left on move in day I pulled out my ace flag that I wanted to hang and I found out one of my roommates is also ace! We both started to attended the colleges lgbt club and found out they have a designated ace/aro support group and the general club is super inclusive.
You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear stories like these!I'm so glad you found a fellow ace friend and a good support system at college! Thank you for sharing and I hope the two of you have a lovely ace awareness week! 😊

Hi! I have scoliosis and asthma(well controlled) but I've found I can't bind for more than 4ish hours without having a difficult time breathing in the gc2b binder I own. I even ordered a size up. I was wondering if there were any specific styles or add ons you offer that could help with this? I would be okay sacrificing being completely flat to be able to wear a binder for longer. Thanks in advance for taking the time out to answer me!
Hello! Some of our customers with scoliosis have found that extra back support, or one strap longer than the other, are options that have helped. We can also offer a relaxed fit for easier breathing!
