"I missed your birthday!?" Euphie comes flying seemingly out of nowhere and tackles him with a hug. "Happy late birthday! I'm so sorry I missed it, I feel awful! I'll make it up to you, promise."

Shade falls over from the strength of the hug, almost dropping the cake in the progress. “D-Don’t worry Euphie, I forgot my birthday. So I never told you about it. Er, Be careful or your hair will get in the cake.”

Jinri recognizes the girl from a good distance away, because she paid almost as much attention to Luna’s MGA team as she did to her own. Seulgi’s name and face are familiar to her, though Jinri doesn’t think the newer trainee knows her nearly as well. After all, there wasn’t much of a chance for contestants to get to know coaches of other teams, even in the same company. 

All the same, this is a hazing, of sorts. Free hugs may not be as eccentric as everyone dressing up as pirates or ninjas or in Disney onesies ( all of which have been done before ), but they embody the personality of Sphere just as well, if not better. After all, most of Sphere’s longer-standing trainees are nothing if not kind and loving, particularly towards new arrivals. 

So Jinri breaks into a run down the hall towards Seulgi, throwing herself against the other girl as her arms wrap around the girl’s torso. “Welcome to Sphere!” She shouts with a laugh, feeling herself losing her balance and wondering if Seulgi will be able to stop them both from falling. 

Sphere was brand new and a shiny thing in Seulgi’s life, despite seeing it multiple times when she would walk around the city, it was much different on the inside, and that included seeing a lot of faces that she had really hoped she’d be able to meet someday.  It wasn’t just the debuted idols either, she had grown to become a fan of a few people during the MGAs over the years as well as the Sphere/TRC documentary from a while ago as well. 

Walking around the halls of Sphere now, Seulgi was still taking in everything. It was amazing to her that she was even inside the building, let alone training there.  Her absorption of the surroundings was cut short as she saw a tall girl running towards her, causing Seulgi’s eyes to go wide. 

Soon she’s in the other’s arms, one arm thrown back around her in an attempt to return it, the other trying to brace herself against the wall as despite seeing her coming, Seulgi had not expected her to be launched at.  Her grip on the wall did proceed to have them slowly slip down to the floor, Seulgi laughing a bit with the other trainee on top of her. “Thank you!  You’re Jinri, right?  I remember you from a bunch of things!” she grinned up at her, “Does everyone get tackled by pretty girls when they come here, or am I special?”
