It is based around the fictional character of Hugo, a friendly, small Scandinavian folklore troll engaged in a conflict against a wicked witch, often to save his family. Since its premiere in 1990, the Hugo game show has been aired in more than 40 countries, spawning dozens of video games for various platforms. Hugo spawned other merchandise, including dedicated magazines. Endlich mal ein GameBoy-Spiel, das ich sogar in meiner Sammlung habe. Ich frage mich zwar bis heute warum überhaupt, weil das Spiel gar nicht mal so gut ist, aber was man hat, das hat man eben.

Kennt ihr Hugo 2 für den GameBoy auch? Oder könnt ihr euch eventuell noch an die TV-Sendung auf Kabel 1 erinnern, bei der die Kandidaten Hugo per Sprache übers Telefon steuern mussten?

Fun-ish Fact: Hugo was originally designed to be played on television, with players calling into the show and using the keys on their phone to control the titular character. This worked about as well as expected for all the reasons expected, but didn't diminish its popularity, as during the 90s, Hugo appeared bloody everywhere.
