Miraculous Divorce AU

So I had this idea for a while:

All the crime fighting, the lies, the betrayals eventually take a tall on Marinette and Adrien's relationship.

In my head, after the defeat of Hawkmoth/Chrystalys, they try to work through it since they do love eachother to death and for almost a decade and a half everything seems well . But as we know love isn't always enough...

Eventually sometime after the birth of their third child, the fighting becomes more frequent and the cracks of their relationship can no longer be ignored. For the sake of their children and their superhero partnership, Marinette and Adrien separate and have shared custody of their children.

The kiddos mostly stay with Adrien since his work is more grounded than Marinette's, thus it gives him the opportunity to spend more time and care for their children. That said Marinette is incredibly involved and they co-parent very well.

There is no malice behind the divorce, just two people who went through a lot of trauma during their teenage years but they still care about and love eachother.

Nuclear Family AU

Hugo Agreste had always been told how lucky he was to have such an amazing family. Her parents are prominent figures in the fashion industry, Emma, his sister, is the class’ president and he himself is popular and loved.

So why does he feel off? Why does his whole life feel empty?Controlled?

After finding a mysterious brooch in a place he definitely shouldn’t be in, he makes a friend in the form of the kwami that inhabits the brooch.

He begins to question who he is, his life, and his ‘perfect’ family. Are they really the perfect family? Or did someone make them that way?

So this is an AU I’ve been thinking of since May. I actually had an older version of this made but never posted it. Like with many of my AUs, it’s a Next Gen, takiing the traditional Adrienette family with kids: Hugo, Emma, and Louis…but with a twist. Is Hugo’s household really as idyllic as it seems? Or is there something darker lurking under the surface?

Took some liberties with the adult versions of their costumes because we haven’t gotten much details yet.

Also I’m trying to be quicker with colouring because it’s my least favourite bit so things are a bit messy until I figure it out (:

like imagine something where Emma is just being an absolute menace, literally stealing bunnix miraculous to go back in time to meet her parents as her current age to prove to Louis that their parents are indeed ladybug and chat noir and how bad they're at hiding it

or just some funny cute fluff where ladynoir are trying to go save Paris or wtv and their kid (Emma as a baby, maybe) won't stop crying so they just have to bring her with them and you see ladybug trying her best to fight in the most careful way, with a baby strapped at her chest

(also, very important, Adrien would try is very best to be the greatest father his kids can have and when he meets his kids from the future that's his first question, disregarding who's the mother and how they are there. my boy just wants to be a good dad)

I have so many ideas but I can't find anyone that has brought them to life 😔😔

Chapter 35 Preview:

‘Don’t try to move too quickly,’ Louis said. His concern was uncannily adult, halting Cat’s train of thought.

‘Are you two alright?’ Ladybug asked in a shaky voice.

Emma smiled, her eyes were shining with emotion. ‘We’re fine. Are you?’

Ladybug nodded, though she touched her head like it might be hurting. Or maybe she, too, had forgotten the details of how they’d gotten here.

Cat reached for her, taking her hand. When the twins looked at him, he nodded too. Rule Number Whatever of parenting – if possible, don’t let them see you struggling. Be firm, a pillar of safety and wisdom. Reassure them that everything was going to be okay.

‘Everything’s going to be okay,’ Louis said, glowing like a firefly against the night sky.

Cat blinked at him – and a memory shot into his head. ‘Doctor Sadness?’

‘Over there.’ Louis pointed at a rainbow-wrapped bundle lying a few metres behind them.
